FAIZA LIBAN

Mindful Living Facilitator

How does one live a meaningful life that resonates in today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world (with a hefty dose of cancel-culture, compare culture, and uncertainty)? I am Faiza Liban and my focus is to provide you with the tools you need to step into your own unique power and strength through the practice of Presence, Mindful Dialogue, Compassion, Oneness, and Service as you navigate a Global Pandemic and other challenges.

I am an immigrant from Africa and have lived in the UK and the US for the last 28 years. Raised in a strict Somali/Muslim culture and now married to a Jewish man raising two daughters, my experience has inspired me to parent and formulate a mindset that creates Oneness, Not Sameness. Raising multicultural children has made me keenly aware that while the world is laser-focused on seeing our differences as something that separates us, these differences are in fact beautiful and must be celebrated. Diversity of all kinds is creative and innovative and the key to a successful sense of community is embracing it. We are in this together.

I have learned that it is not where we come from or how we were raised that determines how we choose to live our lives. It is what we do with those experiences. When we tease apart our generational and collective conditioning, we can determine what serves us and what does not. We can then come home to our true self. The self we are, not the self we were given… albeit unknowingly.

Evolving Through Continuous Education

“A listening, empathic approach leads
to improved communication,
to greater acceptance of others and by others,
and to attitudes which are more positive and more
problem-solving in nature.
There is a decrease
in defensiveness,
in exaggerated statements,
in evaluative and critical behavior.”

Carl Rogers
